__I love this song because it talks about people who try too hard to be different and end up being an empty version of everyone else they are trying to be like. They start to think that they are better than everyone else because they're "individuals" and look down on people who aren't like them although they don't belive in "stereotypes"

__I think that people like this give "emo kids" and "scene kids" a bad rep because i've run into a lot of people that classify themselves as that, and look down on "preps" and "jocks". the whole thing is retarded and not everyone who dresses that way is a pompous, self-rightous asshole, although I do admit a good percentage is, which is probably because if they can pulloff the style, there are a million people trying to be just like them.

__This is where the line between "being yourself" and trying to be like someone else is crossed. People should be who they want to be, and who they feel most comfortable being but to become so quote unquote "individual" that you look down on anyone who appears to be halfway normal is completely hypocritical and shallow is becoming everything these people claim to hate.

__I also think that the same is true on the other end as well. Not every scene/emo kid is a concieted clone of everyone else, and shouldnt be judged as that. People don't change and no matter how they dress, they're still going to have the same personality as they would if they dressed a different way. so if someone is an asshole as an
emo kid, theyre gonna be an asshole no matter what.

__And the reason that I'm saying this is because lately alot of people have been making assumptions about me/other people based soley on the way that i/said people dress(which is half expected because i dont exactly dress completely normally)but I dont think that people should be judged on the way that they look.
